Philippians 3:13-14 says, “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Our vision and goal is to teach believers to always stir up a renewed hunger and thirst for spiritual growth, which means we must have a one on one intimate relationship with God. We will seek first the kingdom of God and all his righteousness. We will never be anxious for anything but prayer and supplication for everything in our lives. We will teach the believers to be the salt of the earth by being effective saints of God. By living true lives so we can reach the lost and backslider and draw them unto Christ. To let our lights so shine before men that we will leave an “IMPACT” on those around us wherever we may go so that God may be glorified. To teach sound doctrine of Jesus Christ that souls will be saved. To love one another as Christ has loved us. By this all men shall know that we are his disciples. We will reach out to our youth, by teaching them to seek after God with their whole hearts while they are still young. We will instill inside them, “Faith” to know that “they can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens them.” To Encourage and promote continued education so that our youth can be the best they can be in Christ Jesus, for we know, Our Youth Is Our Future. As I commit myself to continual prayer for direction for our church, I am inspired by the Spirit of God to forge ahead in expanding the Kingdom of God here on earth. We have much work to do in teaching believers how to live the abundant life and evangelize the lost and hurting. All throughout the year you will hear more and more about the vision of “Kingdom Building”. You and your family will be greatly blessed as you participate in pushing the kingdom of God forward. Together we can continue to build a ministry that is effectively touching and transforming lives in our generation.
