 Mission
God’s Temple of Praise (GTOP) Christian Marriage Ministry (CMM) has been established to provide Christian Education to married couples and families, and to motivate, empower, and encourage couples to glorify God through their marriages. Marriage is a special gift from God…it is a union that requires prayerful preparation and constant attention. At God’s Temple of Praise we endeavor to help couples build marriages that will overcome all obstacles and last a lifetime. This ministry lives to be an instrument of the Holy Spirit in obedience to the great commission of our Lord.
Objectives:
The objectives of God’s Temple of Praise Christian Marriage Ministry shall include, but not be limited to the following:
- Promoting God's plan for marriage through teaching married couples what the Scriptures teach concerning Christian marriage;
- Helping married couples to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ by "teaching them to observe all things" that Christ commanded;
- Betterment of marital and family communications;
- Encouragement of couples and families to work toward the ideal relationships set forth in the Word of God;
- Fostering of fellowship, witnessing, and deep interpersonal sharing in relationships as described in the New Testament;
- Providing tools to couples and families for improving their relationship with each other and with God in Christ Jesus;
- Gathering into fellowship those who will respond and to nurture them.
- The Final Test. Obedience to The Word of God is the final test of our ministry. That obedience will result in God's blessings.
